Listed below are a few “Dreams” that we have helped to come true….
AURORA BOREALIS DREAM…. Elizabeth is a 50 year old women battling terminal brain cancer. Before her cancer worsens, her dream was to spend time with her husband viewing the Aurora Borealis. Elizabeth and her husband, Scott, were able to travel to Fairbanks to view the Northern Lights. Special thanks to Pikes Waterfront Lodge for donating lodging, Paws for Adventures for donating a Sled Dog Trip, and to Ms. O’Connor for her help and kindness in making this dream come true.
DISNEYLAND DREAM…. Sammie is a 33 year old mother of 4 children battling terminal lung cancer. Given less than a year to live, her dream was to take her children on a trip to Disneyland. Her request said, “she would like her children to have something fun and good to remember about her”. Sammie and her children were able to visit Disneyland. Special thanks to the Marriott for their assistance with lodging, Alaska Airlines Vacations, and to Ms. Howard who was instrumental in making this dream come true.
A CHRISTMAS DREAM…. Virginia is a 45 year old mother battling terminal cancer. Her dream was not for herself but for her son. She wanted her son to have one last magical Christmas with her. Also, her dream was to spend time enjoying the holidays with her relatives by having a traditional Christmas dinner with them. Virginia and her son received their magical Christmas. A real Christmas tree, with all of the trimmings, was delivered along with a traditional Christmas dinner for everyone. Along with the tree, there were several presents for her son delivered including toys, books, and clothing including a new snowsuit with snow boots.
HELP WITH A PROJECT DREAM…. David is a man in his 50’s looking to complete a project that he started before his battle with pancreatic cancer. His dream was to complete his project so that he wouldn’t have to leave it behind as a burden on his wife and children. David was able to see his project completed.
